RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
Residential interior design is the art of creating aesthetic and functional living spaces. When turning a house into a home, interior design can make all the difference.
COMMERCIAL DESIGN
Commercial interior design is the art of balancing functional needs and aesthetic preferences. It should reflect your brand, be inviting and comfortable.
COLOUR CONSULTATION
A custom palette of colour options chosen just for you and your home create a welcoming environment that you will love coming home to.
Furniture matters the most when designing a space. Whether you require bespoke furniture or you would like to have your existing furniture refurbished, we'll ensure it fits beautifully within your space.
FURNITURE
Fabric coverings, classic wood panelling, striking wallpaper, or eye-catching paint effects will easily turn a lacklustre interior or exterior into the polished space you’ve always dreamed of.
WALL TREATMENT
Furniture and fittings are easier changed than flooring and caring for the floor in your space will ensure that it retains its condition, ultimately adding to the aesthetic of the area.

The lighting in a home changes the mood of a room just as it does the perceived size of a room. The elements that come together when the right lighting is achieved transform a room into a seamless combination of functionality and style.
LIGHTING
Art, pillows, throws, candles, vases, glassware, decorative fixtures, and furnishings are the pieces that personalise and individualise a room. This is the last element of a project and a final step in completing a space that reflects your taste.
ACCESSORIES
Project management within the design of a structure can be of great importance for you to achieve your desired design objectives and functions during the initiative development phases and throughout the completion of the processes and phases of a project.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The Inspiration Behind Cross The Line Interiors
Debi Dabbs has been changing peoples’ spaces for 20 plus years. Starting out in the beauty industry, and then feeling the need to do more, she started with the ever popular paint techniques of the 90s. The rest is history and built up her small business to an interior décor business dealing with a full turnkey solution based company.
With her team of 12 crew, and fabricators working to create the best in soft furnishings, bespoke furniture, and other bits and pieces that inspire, Debi is very hands on.
The Crew
The Process
Each project is specifically focused on the client’s individual needs. This is done through one-on-one sessions and this in-depth process gives the necessary insights needed.

Design & Inspiration
Mr. Sanjeev Budhram & Dr. Shastra Bhoora
Debi’s design vision is a key differentiator from other interior designers interviewed. Her ability to advise on colours, use of light and space and attention to detail is impressive. She was able transform some small areas into bright, positive spaces and use contrast to enhance the fixed features.
Equally impressive to her design ability was her project management of the renovations. With both of us having demanding jobs, we were completely reliant on Debi to complete the work, on time and in full. Her natural hands-on nature and ability to manage labour allowed us to rest easy that all was in hand.
She exceeded the scope on many occasions by procuring items, with prior approval, for the jobs on her non-working time. In the period that she was contracted to us, there was not a single instance where we were called upon to support the completing of the work.
What Our Clients Have Been Saying
Daan Coetzee
I recently replaced my thatch roof with a Shingles roof in St Francis Bay.
During construction of the new roof I entered into an agreement with Cross Line Interiors to do the beam filling and painting of the entire residence, inside and outside.
Cross Line Interiors represented themselves with a high degree of professionalism and personal cooperation from Debi. The project was completed on time and on budget.
I will strongly recommend Cross Line to anyone for work of this nature.

Thank you so much for upholstering my dining room chairs with that fabulous fabric you chose – and making them look brand new. Such a professional job – and done so quickly and affordably.
As for the scatters and base cushions you had made for the wooden bench in our bedroom – I absolutely love them and the fabulous colour combinations.!
It’s so good to know there’s someone like you in St Francis Bay – one who listens, thinks about a project – and then delivers the goods on time, in budget.
You are one in a million!
BOLD COLOURS
“In 2019, bold colors are going to explode even more than they already have. Think navy blue, deep red, and burnt orange to really bring some excitement into the room.” ~ Shea Nikkel, Owner, Blue Charlotte Lifestyle
Bringing bold colors into a room is all about creating balance. Make sure to pair your bold shade with calmer, neutral hues like white or gray. Use your bold color sparingly, either as a statement piece or an accent.
Current Trends We Love
Design Trends evolve every year and in 2019 we think there will be massive changes. Here are some of the biggest trends on home front so far.
WALLPAPER
Wallpaper experienced a revival, with tropical wallpaper covering some of the most stylish interiors on Instagram and Pinterest.
Bold wallpaper encompasses tropical wallpaper—and a handful of other iconic prints. Florals—both abstract and literal—are on the menu. So are geometric prints. And fruit patterns. And stripes, terrazzos and colorful speckles.
